Service area — Winona, MN
Pallets delivered to Winona, down the river road.
About 45 miles east of our Rochester yard, through the bluffs. We deliver to Winona on our own equipment — straight trucks where the dock is tight, semis for full loads, and a Moffett forklift where there is no dock at all, which along that riverfront is not unusual.
What Winona actually ships
Winona is a genuinely unusual manufacturing town for its size. Engineered plastics and composites, industrial fasteners and supply, foundry and machining work, hoists and lifting chain, grain milling, printed music, quarried stone. Several of those companies are headquartered there rather than merely operating a plant.
From a pallet standpoint that list is a problem set. Lifting chain and hoists concentrate enormous weight into a small footprint. Milled grain moves in volume and cares about food-grade handling. Quarried stone is simply heavy. Composites are light but often sized strangely, which is its own kind of awkward.
Almost none of that is a textbook 48x40 load, and pretending otherwise is how product gets damaged in transit.
What we bring up the road
Three ways to solve the same problem. Which one is right depends on what your load weighs, how many times it gets handled, and whether the pallet ever comes back to you.
New pallets
Built to an engineered spec in any deck dimension from 24" to 65". Hardwood, softwood or KDHT SPF, with certified heat treat stamps for export.
See new pallets →Refurbished pallets
Inspected, repaired and sorted into Preferred, A and B grades, so you can order against a standard instead of hoping.
See refurbished →Custom design & build
For loads outside 24" to 65", or where the requirement is the construction rather than the size. Modelled before anything gets built.
See custom →The Winona run
And what goes back
The truck does not have to come home empty. We buy and collect your empty pallets, and we will take baled or loose cardboard off the same dock on the same stop — which for most plants is corrugate they are currently paying a hauler to remove.
