Refurbished & Graded
Refurbished pallets, sorted to a grade you can order against.
"Used pallet" can mean almost anything. Ours does not. Every unit that leaves our yard has been inspected, repaired where it needed it, and sorted into one of three grades, so the pallet you order in March is the same pallet you get in September.
The three grades
All 48" × 40". The difference is the lead board width and whether the stringers have been repaired.

| Preferred | 5.5 in | No damage | The closest thing to a new pallet without paying for one. Good where the load is heavy or the pallet will be seen by your customer. |
| A Grade | 3.5 in | No damage | The everyday workhorse. Sound structure, narrower lead boards, and the grade most operations end up standing on. |
| B Grade | Varies | Repaired | Stringers have been repaired and the pallet is structurally sound. Lowest cost per trip, and the right call for one-way shipments you do not expect back. |
If you are not sure which grade you need, describe the load and the trip instead of guessing at a grade. Weight, how many times it gets handled, and whether the pallet comes back to you tell us more than a grade name does, and it is a two-minute conversation.
Why refurbished is often the right answer
New is not automatically better. It is better for specific reasons, and those reasons do not always apply.
Cost per trip, not cost per pallet
For a one-way shipment, what matters is the cost of getting the load there intact. A B Grade pallet that does that job costs you meaningfully less than a new one doing the same job.
It keeps wood in service
Every pallet we repair is one that did not get chipped or landfilled, and one less that had to be built from new lumber. That is a real number on a sustainability report, not a slogan.
Supply is steadier than you think
We collect and rebuild continuously rather than buying finished stock, so refurbished availability tends to hold up when new lumber gets tight.
Where they come from
We collect empty pallets from businesses across southeastern Minnesota, bring them back to the yard on our own trucks, and rebuild them here. If your operation generates empties, that is a conversation worth having in both directions.
