New pallets, engineered to your load and built the same way every time.
The reason most operations move to new is not the pallet itself. It is that recovered pallets vary, and variation is what jams an automation line or drops a load. A new pallet built to an engineered spec removes that variable.
Why operations buy new
Rarely about appearance. Almost always about what a failure costs.
Automation does not tolerate variation
Conveyor, AS/RS and robotic handling are built around a consistent pallet. Recovered stock varies board to board, and that variation is what stops a line. New units are dimensionally identical to each other.
A broken pallet stops production
The cost is almost never the pallet. It is the downtime, the damaged product, and the people standing around while it gets cleared. New stock is built to carry its rated load for its full service life.
You know how it will perform
Because the design is engineered before it is built, the load capacity, deflection and expected service life are known numbers rather than an assumption.
Wood, matched to the job
Species is a design decision, not a default. We build in whatever the application actually calls for.
- High-density hardwoodWhere the load is heavy or the pallet will be reused many times.
- SoftwoodLighter, and often the better economics on one-way or lighter loads.
- KDHT SPFKiln-dried heat-treated spruce-pine-fir. Dry, dimensionally stable, and lighter than hardwood.
- Other species on requestIf your product, your customer or your regulator requires something specific, tell us and we will build to it.
Shipping internationally? We provide certified heat treat stamps, so your pallets meet the wood packaging requirements for export without you having to source treatment separately or hold up a shipment at the border.
Every spec is engineered before it is built
We are a licensed user of the Pallet Design System (PDS License 1158), the pallet engineering software developed by the National Wooden Pallet and Container Association with Virginia Tech and the USDA Forest Service. Before we build, we model the design against your actual conditions.
Structural analysis
Safe maximum load and deflection under your real support conditions, whether that is racking, floor stacking or a fork truck.
Durability analysis
Predicted service life in handling cycles, and which component gives out first. That is what tells you whether a heavier build pays for itself.
Your load, not a generic one
The model includes your cartons and stacking pattern, so the analysis reflects the unit load you actually ship rather than an idealised one.
You get the spec sheet and dimensioned drawings for your design. That is what keeps manufacturing consistent run after run, and it means the pallet arriving next quarter is the same one we engineered. PDS can also produce a UL-certified environmental product declaration with carbon footprint per pallet, if you report on that.
We hold your inventory
We store both unfinished and finished stock for our clients, so your pallets exist before you need them. That means a spike in your production schedule does not turn into a lead-time problem on our side, and you are not carrying the floor space yourself.
